As the typical Western diet contains insufficient amounts of this essential vitamin, daily intake of additional vitamin K2, specifically menaquinone-7 (MK-7), will support optimal calcium metabolism, including the ideal use of calcium in the bone-building process, and will promote the prevention of calcification of blood vessels and kidneys.
